THE GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS OF HELICOPTER ÀÊ1-3

The helicopter - the flying device is heavier than air with vertical rise and landing, elevating force in which is created by one or several revolving blades.

The helicopter flies up upwards without running and makes vertical landing without run, motionlessly "hangs" above one place, supposing turn around of a vertical axis in any direction, makes flight in any direction with speeds from zero up to maximal.

At the compelled stop of the engine in flight the helicopter can make planning descent and landing, using self-rotation (autorotation) of main rotor.

For an equilibration of the jet moment of the main rotor in a design of the helicopter ÀÊ1-3 the tail revolving blades are used..

The general parameters of helicopter AK1-3 are not worse than the best samples of foreign helicopters of the given class have.

The operational range of heights and speeds of flight of the helicopter is limited to a practical ceiling of 3000 meters under a condition of absence of the oxygen equipment.

At flight weight of 530 kg (one pilot) the helicopter has good maneuverable characteristics under small speeds of flight. Realization of good maneuverable characteristics is provided by small loading on blowing area, high installed power, the small moments of inertia, and a sufficient reserve of control that enables its uses for flights on sports pilotage.
